Follow Up Activates for All Lessons
One of the ways to understand what you read is to interact with it and do a
follow up writing or discussion. You will read lessons on many concepts in this
book. As you read them, make a list of 5 new ideas you learned from each
lesson. Write the Lesson number and then write your understanding of the lesson
in your notebook. You will need to turn these in to your teacher every week.
A Note from the Author: In all the lessons in this book, I have tried my best to find
the most accurate information. My main resource is the Encyclopedia of Sikhism by Dr.
Harbans Singh and it is published by the Punjabi University, Patiala. There could be
discrepancy about the dates of historical events. Different sources write different dates.
All errors in my books are unintentional. Please do your research and find the exact
dates if you can and let me know so that we can change them in the next edition. My
goal is to provide the best possible resources for young children to learn the
Gurmat/Sikh History. I am not an expert in these fields but am learning as well. My
contact information is pushpinderpenji@gmail.com).
